Iggy 2 the Cat needs a home
Iggy is an adult, spayed female cat, probably born September or October 2016. She is a tripod, missing one rear leg due to an accident. Iggy has a strong constitution and a stronger personality and both played big roles in her recovery. She hasn't let her missing limb slow her down one bit. She scampered through her foster home like lightening, chasing the resident cats and her other foster-siblings. Her best friends were the family dogs (she didn't chase them, but shared a recliner or lay on the bed near one or the other). She can hop on furniture like any other cat, although it helps her to have a step to get up on the bed. She's very, very people focused - sometimes she feels so desperate, she will use her claws to do pull-ups until she can swing her one rear leg up and sit with everyone. Did we mention she's a determined and focused little girl? We keep her nails trimmed, but she still does pull ups if we don't catch her. She's such a wonderful, lucky cat that we think nails trims or nail caps will be a small price to pay for the joy she'll bring to a lucky family.
